10-Minute Stovetop Mac & Cheese with Herbs
First off, Mac and cheese is my favorite food. Growing up, it was a staple during my childhood and I still love it so much today. This recipe for 10-minute stovetop mac and cheese is so simple and can be made healthy. The dried herbs add a light flavor to a normally heavier comfort food. Additions like grilled chicken or bacon would pair wonderfully with this recipe as well.
For this recipe, many different cheeses can be used. Just use your favorite! I love the combination of raw milk cheddar, parmesan, and an aged white cheddar. Any pasta shape can be used as well. Elbows are always a classic, but use whatever you have on hand; all variations will be delicious. (Organic Pasta Link)
You can use this simple herbed mac and cheese as a side dish, or top it with protein for a main course meal. It’s an easy and quick dish to make when you’re short on time. Enjoy the recipe and I’d love to hear your feedback!
